Inspired by his close encounter with death, this XL plush is a recreation of the revolver seen in Andy Warhol’s “Guns” series. The revolver is a duplicate of the one used when he was almost fatally shot in 1968 by Valerie Solanas. After the shooting, death became a prominent theme in Warhol’s work and ushered in a new era and feeling to his art.
